gelflyng is very funny when she's trying to eat while a bit tipsy. She also doesn't take very well to being tickled :]

penguin_worships mother is very nice to talk to on the phone and apparently I have now become 'Mother Liaison Officer' and all calls from said mother will be forwarded to my mobile.

gothicbarbiecat can now expect a visit from me on the 10th of November. Tickets have been booked and everfing...
Tinitus is a go. Festival tickets and Plane tickets have been purchased.

As we all know the Starwars prequels sucked mighty wang. In a perfect world Joss Whedon would have made them and they would have been unsucky.
Serenity is one of the best sci-fi movies I have ever seen. I think it's even made it into my top 20 movie list of all times.

And whether you like the movie or not, if you like sci-fi you must go and buy the Firefly DVD box set. Only £17.99 from HMV...

i didn't know it was b movie this fri, so. assuming i'm not too tired (see todays post) i like the idea of coming to garlic and shots for some warm up beer and then hitting b movie later :)

I just had a thought.

We must go to BOTH G&S's in the one weekend for bloodshot fuck-nuttery. Hopefully my "bloodshot userpic" will be in progress soon. I just have to ask someone who can make them for me very nicely.

Firefly does rock muchly, if only for the fact that Captain Mal uses my often-said phrase of "Shiny!" Captain Tight Pants indeed.... ;o)

Joss Whedon seems to have got everything right that Mr Lucas didn't. Serenity reminds me of why I liked the original Star Wars, great characters, catchy dialogue and a frenetic pace. Above all just great fun. Here's hoping for a sequel, or oven better a new series of Firefly. The show has so much potential.
