It didn't think that was news: from what I recall, chilli and garlic have been known for their antibacterial properties for years. Plus they're just delicious!

Oh yes, the positive health benefits of a diet rich in hot spices and garlic have been known for centuries and scientifically proven for a few decades, I think that this article just about yet another positive thing about chilies. Mmmmm, chilies...
