Ooops.
Three hours late for work.
I think that's a new personal best :)

Had some lovely wood smoked mackerel for breakfast when I got into work.
I really like the tinned mackerel from Princes The Mackerel in a hot chili dressing has long been my favourite, but today I tried the wood smoked mackerel in sunflower oil and I was blown away.
Such an amazingly full flavour and it didn't seem oily despite obviously being in the sunflower oil until I ate it.
Lovely :)

This icon is a picture of the oldest known bear statue.

It is believed to be from about 4500bce and shows a momma bear with her little baby bear.
It is thought to be a statue of the earthmother/goddess/whatever-you-call-her personified in bear form.

I think it's cute :)

I got it from a book [livejournal.com profile] blakeshell lent to me as he thought, and quite rightly so, that it would make a great icon for me...

Curses, foiled again

I'm going to Torture Garden for the first time this Saturday and I was hoping to find a nice uniform to wear.
This sort of fancy dress seems to be rather elusive...

The only ones I have been able to find are slightly boring british ones and I was kinda hoping for a groovy looking German WWII uniform (No Swasticas though).
Does anyone know where I can get one?
Preferably someplace with a website where I can browse the goods first :)

If I can't hire one, I'll bite the bullet and buy one, but where...
Damn, and I have no idea where to start and I don't really want to go to websites that come up if I google for german uniforms at work :)
