Once I have The Players Handbook and whatever the current version of The Wizard's Handbook is these days I'll be away, as it were...

I think the Wizards handbook is called 'Complete Arcane' (haven't got that one yet). Ignore the 'Tome and Blood' book (it's already out of date and is quite weak content-wise).

Yeah, I got the Complete Arcane.
Interesting, but mages don't seem as flexible and versatile as they were in AD&D 2nd Edition...
