If I ever consider buying something from either Amazon or Dabs again, please slap me with a kipper and call me a muppet.
Both of those fuckwit companies have managed to send the stuff I've ordered to my home address instead of to my office.
After the problems I've had with them previously I said to myself: 'Never again' but of course I forgot and decided to give them another chance.
Muppet that I am.

Dabs? Are you mad?

Hiya,
I gave up on that crappy company that is Dabs years ago. I still use them for price checking, but wouldn't order from them or recommend them again. Truly the worst service I've ever had from a retailer! Funny though, I've never had problems with Amazon, but with all these post-911 and SOX money laundering regulations online ordering just isn't what it was. Shame.
Now be sensible and shop at Komplett!
Cheers,
O.

Aye, I know, and we had this conversation when I last lamented my foolish habit of buying from Dabs. But now, never again!!!

I managed to order stuff from Amazon last night - here's hoping I have more luck. There was no question that online ordering was the way as the two books (one on PHP/MySQL and one China Mieville book) were both half the bookshop price.
