VMWare is still not running.

Currently getting this error when I try to run VMWare Workstation 6.51 from a terminal:

lars@Khaine:/media/D$ vmware &

On Ubuntu 9.04 x64.
Very annoying.

When installing from the file VMware-Workstation-6.5.1-126130.x86_64.bundle I don't get any errors, and the installer exits successfully.

I haven't been able to find anything on this yet, but hopefully I will be able to do something with it tonight.

Scouring the internet I've found a couple of possibilities, but nothing that has worked so far...

Nick Griffin is reported to be upset that the eggs thrown at him still contained their yolks.
He only likes the whites.

Still no joy...

Nothing helpful has come up through the internet, although Calamity Jane reminded me of another error I should have made a note of.

Oh well, if I haven't found a solution to this by Friday evening, then it's back to Vista...

It will be nice, I suppose, so be using an OS again that just works...
