So, I'm running out of USB ports so I thought about getting this, but alas, I can't find a UK supplier.
Foiled again. Must I really get a normal and boring USB hub?
Or does anyone know of any other amusing hubs?
I had a look at ThinkGeek.com but they didn't have any that tempted me...

Oh well, at least I got myself some advance x-mas presents:
The God Delusion
Designing Security for a Windows Server 2003 Network
The second one should be particularly riverting. I have been told that of all the Microsoft exams, that one is the most mindnumbingly boring exam to study for.
And I can believe it... I've read some of it already and it nearly made me want to drill a hole in my skull to let the boredom out...
But it'll be worth it.

I haven't been re-assigned yet.
I expect to be sent to one of the worlds largest banking corporations for an interview soonish, but that could change. Naturally :]
Coming up to x-mas all the banks have change freezes and since it's a project team I'd be joining, I would probably only be there for a week before everyone is sent back to HQ and told to come back in the beginning of January when the change freeze is over...

So, until then I'm studying.

I've just spent a few hours reeading about public folders and swearing at the authors of the MS Press study book for being idiots.
So many of the examples they come up with would have been more efficiently dealt with by creating a shared mailbox rather than a PF.
Grrrr.
And the questions/problems at the end of each section would be better resolved by user education and process change than by using PFs.
It's also amusing that the chapter sings Public Folders' praises and yet Microsoft are getting rid of them in new versions of Exchange (2007 or 2012 I can't remember...)
/sigh

Currently reading about virtual servers.
Riveting stuff...

I am currently absolutely shitting myself that I won't pass my exam tomorrow :-/
I failed the Transcender mock exam I did last night, but maybe with a bit of good luck I'll make it tomorrow...
But of course, I believe that we all make our own good luck...
And in any case, the Transcender mock exams are meant to be harder than the real thing...

Today I decided what I'm going to try to study next.
As some of you may know, I'm currently studying to get an MCSE, and I have been thinking about what I want to study once that's over and done with (Early November I hope).
I have now decided that the time has come for me to learn Klingon.

And no, I'm not actually joking. I've been wanting to learn Klingon for quite some time. It's my dirty little secret...
