What kind of graphics res is that? Average? Low? High? Just curious because I know a lot of people make a thing out of WoW graphics...

Meh, if it can't be stolen from a beaten opponent, then there's no point in having it. I like PvP to HURT the loser by robbing them of something they've worked hard for; it makes going into combat a real rush when there's a proper risk involved. :)

The graphics of WoW is mostly a style thing I think; the engine's pretty old (4-5 years?) and visually it's not really that impressive if we're honest. But it is good-looking and stylistically cool.

/stopped playing WoW a few months back after over 2 years and doesn't miss it

It's 1280x1024 which is fairly decent.
All graphics settings are set to their lowest setting as my graphics card just isn't grown up enough to run the game properly when they're higher...
I should really have set them to their max settings for this screen shot...

WoW graphics can be very pretty if you have the equipment for it...

LOTRO sounded boring to me. Conan sounds like it might be a bit different, but it's WAR that I'm really looking forwards to.
When that comes out I may even buy a new machine so I can fully enjoy it...

I have to confess that I really can't be bothered with that.
If I wanted that kind of thing I'd be playing Everquest or Guild wars or which ever it is where you can do that sort of thing.

If I was one of those hard core players who have little life outside of whichever game they play, then yes, maybe...

It's not really that hard to get one if you try at a high enough level.
It took my about three evening running around doing low level quests which gave me no experience or money, but lots of reputation gain.
And because the quests were low level and I'm fairly high level, they were easily done.

I also spent a truck load of gold on buying items which could be turned in for reputation gain as well...

But I'm still happy about my little wolfie :)

Oh, right - that's bollocks then as the textures and polygons are quite mediocre compared to most modern games. It does, however, mean it'll run nicely an almost any PC made in the last 3-5 years without too much hassle...

...but yeah... there's not really a lot going on renderingwise compared to a lot of the newer games.

Eve is 100 times better. You can kill anyone in eve, whether they let you or not. And if you die in you're 100billion ISK starship, you actually get pissed off instead of simply respawning with all your gear in a graveyard! EVE FTW!!!!!!!!!1!!1!!!1one
