Today I go to a clinic to get all four wisdom teeth taken out, and I'm ever so slightly worried.
I'm really not looking forwards to the pain afterwards.

In better news, nailbug has once again shown that she's a remarkably lovely girl and has sent me The Picture of Dorian Gray so I'll have something to read while I'm writhing in pain.

Good grief... I removed two of them, in two separate sessions.

Funny was that the first time I didn't feel any pain, and I didn't ever realize that the dentist actually *finished*. He had to tell me.

Second time was Hell on Earth. No, just kidding, it was painful but not particularly. I even managed to DJ that night, even if stuffed with painkillers.

The Picture of Dorian Gray is actually my No1 most scariest horror film of all time ^-^ It scared my father shitless when he was little, and it scares me shitless too! ^-^ I can't even watch it anymore. I read the book after I saw the film. Personally, I found the film better, but I often find people prefer the first medium they get their mits on...

I didn't realise there were two versions! It's the 1945 one. Apparently it was made when using colour was still extremely expensive, and if you watch the film you'll see they actually take this and use it to their advantage :)

You were probably expecting this, but I didn't like that film, I thought the book was much better! I like the theory about preferring the initial medium encountered, but I always prefer books to films. Oh well, just my twopenneth! :) *retreats back to the dark corner*

I have to admit that I too generally prefer the book, but sometimes a movie is better than the book.
Quite hit and miss I find.

That's because they were used to remove their teeth with warhammers. And you'll agree that the pain for a tooth loss is basically irrilevant among the pain for a broken jaw.

You'll be fine, sweetie - just take ibuprofen and don't eat anything acidic. The temporary pain afterwards is nothing compared to the misery of toothache.
