How nice.
The company I work for has just given all us new starters the Windows 2000 Core Requirements kit.

And they are still looking for more people. About 30 in total.
10 Helpdesk staff @ about £20k
10 - 15 Desktop support staff @ about £25k
And a couple of server peeps @ about £30k

Any takers? Surely there must be someone out there who wants to get into banking and want to work for a company that actually invests in their staff...

Edit:
I forgot to mention, their OT rates are quite generous.
And it's a banking environment...

In London? I wonder how those rates translate. Hmmm.

I think they're quite reasonable considering that they will pay for your exams, pay for your study materials, try to give you interesting assignments and their OT rates is exceedingly generous.
Interested? :)

Right now I'm not interested, but I might be in a couple of weeks time, if there's any likelihood of positions still being available.

Well, they are trying to get people as fast as possible, but at the same time, they don't want people who are below their standards, so maybe they will be...

Cool.
Send me your CV to the address on my info page.
Have you ever had a call centre job or something like that?
If you don't know anything about computers, it will probably be around £16k - £18k. Is that enough?

hehe, I was joking! I thought for sure you'd need to know that kind of thing :D

yes, I used to do phones about customer questions/problems, general stuff between departments/regions at the airport.

and right now I'm on about... oooh... £00,001 so it would do me fine! :P

What would happen if an MCSE applied?

From: [identity profile] lpetersson.livejournal.com
That would depend entirely on work experience.

How about a degree followed by 8 years in IT. Experience administering NT4/2K/2K3/SBS Server. Exchange 5/5.5/2K Server. Citrix Certified Administrator. Experience with a variety of: anti-virus, anti-spam, content filtering, backup softwares. Experience programming routers. Experience with hardware firewalls. Experience with VPNs.

That'll do for starters.
