I absolutely love his music, but it just doesn't work in Danish. Apparently a Danish label decided to release a tribute cd where a bunch of Danish bands sing his songs in Danish.
Ahhh... I call that Depeche Mode syndrome, seeing as they're the band that I seem to notice having the most tribute CDs "honouring" them (with The Cure & Sabbath being up there too).
The translation part is a bit unique though... kinda like all those dodgy Deutsch-interpretation CDs they have in Germany... Actually, I think Greece does that quite a bit too. OK, maybe not quite so unique then! I'm waffling now. Pah. :)
Would be interesting to hear Lenny in Danish though, I must say...
