Wow.
It only took me two and a half hours to get home.
I did get soaked in the rain, but I dried up again.

If we let them throw our lives into chaos and cause us to be afraid, then they'll have won.
So here's a big 'up yours' to the terroists: I'm going to the gym now, because that's what I would normally do...

Hope you're all fine out there...

Amusingly, the song which came on my MP3 player when I left the building was Until The End of The World by Apop

I was listening to some bit of Pink Floyd The Wall and Vera Lynn came up... fitting, perhaps: as [livejournal.com profile] reddragdiva was saying, there is a sort of Blitz mood, or as [livejournal.com profile] djpsyche was saying, 'Doesn't sound to ME much like "Britain is burning with fear and terror, from north to south, east to west." This country has survived four years of being bombed by Hitler..."

That is exactly what the British people are good at: getting on with their lives, whatever happens.
"Business as usual" Churchill used to say during the bomb raids on London.
Someone said that this way of coping with adversities is what enabled Britain to win the war.
We did it once, we can do it again!

God save the Queen!

I'm heading off now, just arranged an evil mix of hateful black metal on my ipod.
I'll walk it from Covent Garden to Tufnell Park, I don't really wanna get a bus now!

That's a nasty long walk.

And yeah, Metal up their asses.

The terrorists have trapped me in Woodford (essex), noooooooooooooo.
i stayed at my mums last night and I am staying at my mums again tonight as she wont let me get a train as she is worried. I have one decent c.d here (desendants of cain) and i have read most of the bookshelf and I left the chain mail I was working on at home which would have kept me amused for a bit . looking forward to heading back to london tomorrow. I am going to go find food and put desendants of cain on
btw. i did press ups/sit ups two days this week

chain mail...how awesome. You realize of course the type of person most able to handle civil unrest are those that wield sword and wear chain mail. :)
