That's not very nice! Didn't know that they shorten comments on the BBC.
Trip up to town sounds lovely but we are quite busy at the moment. O. is studying like mad for his exam next Friday which is followed by our first anniversary and then we'll be going on holiday to Egypt. Will check with he who knows best and see when we can fit in a trip to see you.
