We had the postal vote crap, i just couldnt be assed figuring it out and getting witnesses to sign it, load of bollocks in my opinion. I did like pasteys method though of drawing on an additional bow and writing next to it "none of the above"
Maybe, they wont but I proberly never will vote. Maybe the goverment should just dispand and give all the power back to the Queen/king. I doubt they could do a worse job.
Hmmm odd ...I am. Usually always get a voting card and always use it. Only to stop the tories getting in though. It only really matters on a general election though. Smaller ones dont make any difference.
Its a case of you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't I think.
I havent got a clue what we're voting for tho. Is it local elections? I've heard the European Parliament mentioned a lot...I thought it was supposed to be a vote for a MEP...I'm confused.
Never understood politics. It's also gonna be the first time I've been elligable to vote. Haven't got a friggin' clue
"But if you, and all others with the same attitude, took an interest in the world of politics and voted, maybe the papers wouldn't be so depressive."
Actually they would - people will always kill each other and be evil towards animals and children, regardless of who runs the country. Unfortunately :(
Good luck trying to vote. I had a great time. Got there around lunch time with my little card to be told that I've got a letter next to my name which means I can't vote. So why am I on the list? I argued with them for a bit because I knew I was right before going home to call the people in charge to complain. Outside our front door I found the lady from the local Polling Station telling me they made a mistake and I am eligible to vote after all. So back I went - only to be told that I can't vote for the European Parliament. I really couldn't be bothered to argue my case yet again. Still, got my vote in for the London Assembly and the Mayor - for all its worth.... Also had a look at the Green Party statements and was massively disappointed with most of their views.
