Looks a bit mouldy to me.

Photoshop the eyes to look a bit 'milky' and redden the lips a bit, see what people say.

Not a bad idea, but I kinda like it the way it is.
I also haven't got the faintest clue on how to use Photoshop/gimp/PSP/and so on.
I know how to use Microsoft Photo Editor, and that's about it :)
