Wow.
Three weeks away from the gym was just what the doctor ordered.
Initially when I got back I noticed that I had definitely lost some muscle mass and was forced to drop the weight I was doing, but the body remembers.
And it remembers well.
I'm now breaking my previous limits on most exercises.
Yayness.

I'm also currently debating whether I should make food (I should really) or play World of Warcrack (I want to)

Annoyingly The Real World has closed :(
Does anyone know of any good websites for E-mule links to Sci-Fi shows?

Also, SG1 season 6 & 7 for only £30 each. Yayness. I know I shouldn't but I just couldn't help myself.

I have also booked myself in for some more laser treatment tomorrow, so soon Operation: Hairless Monkey™ will be complete. Sadly this means no gym/viking training for me Sunday or Monday as I'm not meant to get hot for a day or two afterwards.
But it will be worth it.

What was also worth it was Subway. Two for one everywhere today. Glory be the footlong cheese and steak subs :)

Note to self:
When in a comms room, one should always make sure that one pulls out the correct network cable from the switch.
And if one fails to do so, make a hasty exit and pretend not to have been in there.
Ooops :)

And yet another person has fallen before the might of Stargate: SG1. I forced persuaded my good friend Iselle to watch the first episode and now she's hooked. Mwahahahahaaaaa
Her BF is going away travelling for 2 weeks, so we are going to see if we can get through the first 7 seasons in that time.
While watching this marvellous bit of sci-fi we had some rather magnificently delicious food. Spag Bol with lots and lots of added goodies.
[livejournal.com profile] flannelcat, [livejournal.com profile] penguin_worship and Georgie can confirm or deny this claim as they had it before I went to Germany and they seemed to like it. I really should do this cooking for others thing more often. If only I had a big kitchen with a decent electrical oven/stove then it would be far easier. And if only not so many of my friends were vegetarian it would be easier to cook for them...

I just remembered a rather odd train of thought I had last night as I was trying to sleep.
For some reason I started thinking of various Sci-Fi species and which one I would most like to be if I wasn't a human.
The two that sprang to mind was, unsurprisingly, Klingons and Vulcans.
Klingons are brave honourable warriors and Vulcans are cold, logical and suppress their enotions.
Both of those appeal rather a lot to me.
And this reminds me of me long term goal of learning Klingon :)
