I just remembered something.
In the van yesterday, the driver and I discussed a number of things including law and law enforcement, and I came to think of something:
Prostitution is illegal, but as soon as you put a camera or a video recorder in front of the action, it's suddenly legal. Why is that?

Date: 2004-01-02 07:04 pm (UTC)If more than woman works out of an address it's a disorderly house, but one woman working alone is legal. The law is byzantine and contradictory to say the least. I believe kerb-crawling is an offence, and that's what the police use to try and control street prostitution.
